Initial Proposition

These posts will serve as a record of development of an art practice's research over a period of weeks. Ritual drawings will be posted as follows: the first four of the five daily drawings per week will focus on the drawing and development of specific areas of content, and the fifth will be a response and synthesis of the previous four. These ritual drawings will continue over twelve weeks for a total of sixty drawings. Periodically, drawings of a more-resolved nature (which will serve as a point of departure for later works) will be posted, for a total of ten developmental drawings. Additionally, intermittent artist statements or reflections will be posted as necessary, including a final artist statement posted with which to sum up, address, and/or resolve the developmental term as a whole.
